TRT Co-production Bosnia and Herzegovina movie “Quo Vadis, Aida?” directed by Jasmila Zbanic received 3 awards in different branches, by the European Film Academy Awards, known as Europe’s Oscars, as “Best Film”, “Best Director” and “Best Actress”.

The 34th European Film Awards ceremony organized by the European Film Academy was held online this year due to the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The TRT Co-Production “Quo Vadis, Aida?” directed by Jasmila Zbanic, which was awarded the ”Best Film” award”, was also the recipient of the “Best Director” and “Best Actress” awards at the ceremony. The film is set in the days of the genocide, when tens of thousands of Bosnians, including women and children, were killed by Serb soldiers in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at a United Nations base.
