At the \u201c27th Sarajevo Film Festival\u201d held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the awards were announced with a ceremony held at the Sarajevo National Theatre. In the festival, where 47 films competed in four different programmes, 9 feature film, 10 short films, 16 documentary film, and 12 in the student films competed for <strong>The Heart of Sarajevo Award.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cHesitation Wound,\u201d<\/strong> directed by <strong>Selman Nacar<\/strong> and winner of the <strong>TRT Co-Production Award<\/strong> in<strong>12 Punto 2021<\/strong>, received the Montenegro Cinelink award in the Cinelink Co-production Market prize (10,000 Euro), where projects in the screenplay stage compete. The film tells the story of lawyer Nesrin, who must confront her conscience at the sentencing hearing of a murder suspect she believes is innocent and has been defending for a long time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Cinelink Work in Progress TRT Award<\/strong>, in which films in the editing stage compete, was given to Bosnian filmmaker <strong>Aida Begic<\/strong>\u2018s <strong>\u201cA Ballad\u201d <\/strong>as part of the <strong>Sarajevo Film Festival.<\/strong> The film is about the story of a Bosnian woman\u2019s daily life and her struggle to hold on to life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cGreat Freedom\u201d<\/strong> by Austrian filmmaker <strong>Sebastian Meise<\/strong> won the Best Feature Film, while <strong>\u201cLandscape of Resistance\u201d<\/strong> by Serbian director <strong>Marta Popivoda<\/strong> won the Best Documentary.<\/p>\n<p>Mate Urgin\u2019s <strong>\u201cEverything Ahead,\u201d<\/strong> directed by Croatian <strong>Mate Urgin<\/strong>, won the Best Short Film award, while <strong>Aleksandru Mironescu<\/strong>\u2018s <strong>\u201cSummer Planning,\u201d<\/strong> directed by Romanian Aleksandru Mironescu, got the Best Student Film award. Turkish director <strong>Ahmet Necdet \u00c7upur<\/strong>\u2018s documentary film <strong>\u201cLes Enfants Terribles\u201d<\/strong> won the Sarajevo Film Festival Human Rights Award.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Milica Tomovic<\/strong> of Serbia won Best Director for his film <strong>\u201cCelts,\u201d<\/strong> which competed at the festival, and Austrian lead actor <strong>Georg Friedrich<\/strong> of the Best Feature Film <strong>\u201cGreat Freedom\u201d<\/strong> won Best Actor.
