SYNOPSIS

Zehra, 8, is upset that her uncle Sezer, who is an immigrant worker, will return to Germany. When Sezer visits Turkey, he stays at his sister’s house, Nuran. They wake up at 6 am on the day that Sezer goes to Germany. When Sezer and his brother-in-law İsmet arrive at airport, they realize that they have missed the plane. Their clocks are 3 hours behind. When they return home, Ismet sees that all the clocks are the same. He looks at Zehra’s watch last, realizes that her daughter has taken it back. He turns mad from anger. Ismet gets angry because of what Zehra did. While Nuran and Sezer are sitting in the kitchen, the broadcast on the radio is interrupted with a breaking news. As soon as they hear the news, Nuran turns on the television; “Royal Dutch Airlines RD 0451, which made the Istanbul-Stuttgart flight, crashed for an unknown reason an hour after departure.” The plane Sezer should get on that morning has crashed. Zehra unwittingly saves her uncle’s life.
