Mustafa Kara was born in Trabzon in 1982. He graduated from the Radio and Television Department of the Cumhuriyet University. He directed numerous commercial films and TV series for long year. In 2009, he founded the Karafilm Production Company. After working on various documentary and commercial films he made the film “Kalandar Soğuğu” (Cold of Kalandar). He has been a member of the Asia-Pacific Screen Academy (APSA) since 2016.
