Living an orderly and simple life in Istanbul, Hamdi ends up looking for a stone to crack the almonds, since he doesn’t ask back the hammer he has lent to his elder brother. When he couldn’t find even one stone in his neighborhood, he finally borrows a paving stone. The next day going back to put the stone in its place he sees the pavement has already been restored by the municipality. Determined to return the paving stone to the municipality, Hamdi faces multiple complications and finds himself in an awkward position.
