GIACOMO DURZI attended courses at the London Film School and later graduated from Rome’s Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, after completing university studies in Law. Durzi is a screenwriter/director and story editor/creative producer. He has worked with broadcasters like NBC Universal and Fox Channels Italy, overseeing product selection and the original productions. As an author and director, he has created shows for channels like Fox, RAI and La7. Over the years, he’s mostly been working as a scriptwriter for several production companies and television networks, writing long and short TV series. His last one is the original Netflix series BABY, on which he served as scriptwriter/head writer. His experience includes credits as creative producer on feature films and he wrote and directed television documentaries for NBC Studio Universal, Rai, Arte, The History Channel, Channel 4 and MTV Europe. His last one is Ferrante Fever (Rai- Arte- Sky-The Match factory). Durzi also acts as a script consultant for Torino Film Lab, Eave, Cinelink, Biennale College Cinema and IDM-Alto Adige Film Commission. In his multifaceted career, Durzi also teaches serial narration at the Scuola Holden School and had taught at the Berlin DFFB and Cologne International Film School. In the last years, Giacomo Durzi served Sky Italy originals as a story editor/creative producer for the development of drama series.
