SYNOPSIS
Having lost his authority after his wife’s death, irritable father Ali (83) gathers his family at his home in Germany for the Feast of the Sacrifice. He announces that he is going to get married against his children’s plan to put him in a nursing home. Siblings suppress this wish of their father by buying him a smart television. Knives are sharpened, animals are sacrificed and the meat is given away. However, the letter left by the mother who had died quite recently stirs up trouble.
