SYNOPSIS

12-year-old Orhan goes hunting with his friend Hikmet. This adventure ends with the tragic death of Hikmet. After many years, Orhan tries to hold on to life, living in one of the ghettos of İstanbul and working in a factory. When the factory lets him go, Orhan starts to work as an entertainer on tour boats on the Bosphorous. His job is to entertain the tourists in costumes of famous historical figures.

Orhan often visits İzzet, an old friend from the factory. One night, Orhan thinks that İzzet implicitly suggests that they spend the night together. Orhan, shocked, leaves the cabin. A few days later, after his nightshift, he finds himself in front of İzzet’s cabin. He can’t control his anger and kills İzzet. Meanwhile Orhan meets his neighbour Aslı, who has been looking after her bedridden mother. Aslı plans to move in with her sisters, to the village. She wants Orhan to stop her but Orhan has no intention of being a part of her plan.

While trying to lead a normal life with Aslı, Orhan tries to cope with the guilt he feels for killing İzzet. But later he cannot help but kill another acquaintance.
